Born in Calgary, Alberta, Brian Hall was introduced to glass in his foundation year at the Alberta College of Art and Design. After graduating in 1997, Hall founded Flux Glassworks, his studio in Canmore, nestled in a valley in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Hall exhibits and is collected internationally and shares company with the best-known artists in the world. His work is incredibly dynamic, yet captures a Zen-like stillness. Form, colour, and technique are carefully orchestrated to embrace and convey a universal sense of equilibrium, both in the work itself as well as in the viewer.

Hall uses the unique properties of hot glass, his surrounding, and meditative techniques as inspiration for and during the creation of his work.
